Engagement model
Partner Programs
Moleculepath Bio engages with biotech discovery teams as a scientific partner — not a screening vendor. The engagement model is built around your target, your structural data, and your program timeline.
The partnership model
A scientific collaboration, not a vendor contract.
A partner program begins with a target briefing: you provide structural data, known SAR context, selectivity requirements, and program constraints. Moleculepath Bio returns a campaign design proposal — binding site analysis, recommended fragment library scope, docking protocol outline, and expected deliverable format. If the proposal is aligned, screening begins within two to four weeks.
The engagement model allows early-stage biotechs to access SBDD-quality hit discovery without hiring a full computational chemistry team. A typical partner program runs six to twelve weeks from target briefing to data package delivery. Scope is defined collaboratively — the number of fragments screened, the depth of hit triage, and the deliverable format are agreed before screening starts.
What partners bring
Your program assets drive the campaign.
- Target protein structure — crystal, cryo-EM, or validated homology model with confidence metrics. The structure defines the campaign; better structural data produces better hits.
- SAR context — any known ligand data, co-crystal structures, or binding mode hypotheses. Prior SAR improves docking calibration and fragment selection.
- Program constraints — selectivity requirements, ADMET flags, IP freedom-to-operate considerations, and synthesis accessibility limits. These constraints are applied at the triage stage, not after delivery.
- Program timeline — the next SAR review, IND-enabling milestone, or funding event that defines the output deadline. Campaign scope is calibrated to deliver meaningful hit matter before the relevant decision point.
Engagement stages
Four stages from target briefing to data delivery.
STAGE 01
Target Briefing
60-minute call. You present the target structure, program context, and constraints. Moleculepath Bio asks structural and scientific questions to scope the campaign. Mutual NDA executed before the call.
STAGE 02
Campaign Design Proposal
Binding site analysis, fragment library scope, docking protocol outline, and expected deliverable format. Returned within five business days. If aligned, scope and timeline are finalized.
STAGE 03
Screening & Triage
Structure-guided fragment screening, docking, and hit triage. Moleculepath Bio provides progress updates at agreed checkpoints. Duration: four to ten weeks depending on scope.
STAGE 04
Data Package Delivery
Partner data package: ranked hit shortlist PDF, SDF file, campaign design summary, and 60-minute visualization session. Hit matter is ready for immediate synthesis prioritization.
Partner voice
What early partners say.
We had a crystal structure for our kinase target but no computational chemistry capacity in-house. The binding pose rationale in the hit shortlist changed how we prioritized the next round of synthesis — we eliminated two series that would have wasted six weeks of chemistry resources.

The campaign design proposal stage is where the value is. Most screening vendors take your structure and run a default protocol. Moleculepath came back with a pocket analysis that identified an allosteric sub-pocket we hadn't considered — and the fragment campaign was designed around that, not the ATP site.
Medicinal Chemist
Series A kinase program, Halcyon Therapeutics
We needed hit matter before a funding review. The timeline commitment was specific — six weeks from target briefing to data package — and it was met. The ADMET flags in the triage report prevented us from advancing two compounds that would have failed our in-house metabolic stability assay.

Ready to discuss a partner program?
The first step is a target briefing — 60 minutes, NDA covered, scientific conversation about your target and whether structure-guided hit identification is the right approach for your program stage.
